Emily M. Bivona

Emily M. Bivona has been an associate attorney with the Houston, Texas law firm of Pagel, Davis & Hill (“PDH”), a Professional Corporation, since July 2016. Ms. Bivona is both an attorney and a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Her practice includes issues relating to federal and state tax controversy, as well as tax planning and business transactions.

Ms. Bivona began her career in the Tax Controversy practice at Deloitte Tax LLP. She has experience representing clients before the IRS and state revenue departments at both the examination and appeals levels, as well as assisting clients with meeting FATCA and foreign bank account reporting obligations. She is also experienced in planning for various tax issues, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, estate planning, sales and use tax, and cross-border taxation.
