PDH Law’s Jo Vonna Hill served as Committee Chair of the 2019 Gulf Coast Symposium on HR Issues.

Jo Vonna Hill, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, was honored to Chair the HR Houston Gulf Coast Symposium – Reliant Center which is an annual conference hosted by HR Houston. This largest regional conference for HR Professionals on the Gulf Coast drew more than 2,100 practitioners, presenters and providers over its 3 days. HR Houston is the Houston Chapter of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

For more than 25 years the Symposium has brought together an eager and excited group of member volunteers who are encouraged to market the event, brainstorm new ideas, collaborate on pre-event organization efforts, and participate in various volunteer roles during the event. As Chair of the Symposium, Jo Vonna Hill, lead this group of volunteers to a successful Symposium that fostered continuing education, networking opportunities, and access to solutions for everyone in attendance.
